Overview
Mazda's only factory turbo Miata — the Mazdaspeed MX-5 combined an IHI turbocharger with a 6-speed manual, Bilstein suspension, and Racing Hart wheels in the NB platform. Just 6,616 were built across seven markets before a factory fire cut production short. Sold as Roadster Turbo in Japan, MX-5 SE in Australia, and MX-5 Turbo in New Zealand.
