About
The JDM Registry is an independent, research-grade archive of production data for Japan's most significant performance cars — variants, factory colours, chassis ranges and build numbers, where documented, each classified by confidence.
It is produced by Importify NZ, a New Zealand JDM vehicle import specialist. The registry exists because this data has historically been scattered across records and sources, often conflicting and rarely consolidated. We bring it together into one place and show our confidence in every figure.
What makes it different
Figures are classified by confidence — Confirmed, Estimated, Conflicting or Missing. Where a total doesn't reconcile against its breakdown, we show the gap rather than hide it. We would rather publish "unknown" than a fabricated number.
