Overview
The fifth-generation Supra returned in 2019 after a 17-year hiatus, jointly developed with BMW on the J29 platform that also underpins the Z4 G29. The B58 inline-six revived the Supra's defining engine layout — though the chassis, transmission, and electronics now come from Munich. Built in Graz, Austria. Polarising on debut for its BMW DNA, but the manual gearbox added in 2022 and the gradual power climb to 382 hp won over most of the doubters.
