Overview
The first GT-R. Born in February 1969 from the merger of Nissan and Prince Motors, the PGC10 packed R380 race car technology into an ordinary-looking 4-door sedan. The C10 chassis is broadly known as Hakosuka (ハコスカ, 'box Skyline'), but the iconic Hakosuka GT-R is the 2-door KPGC10 hardtop that followed in 1970 — the PGC10 sedan came first and laid the foundation. Its S20 DOHC inline-six and 52 consecutive race victories created a legend that would define Nissan performance for over half a century.
